1. Who Can Join?
Education and non-education students, faculty and staff. Students can be a graduate or undergraduate.
2. How often does B.E.S.O. meet?
We meet once a month unless otherwise stated. Generally these meetings are held right after the education group meetings.We also have meetings for officers only, these meetings are held every other week.
3. Do I have to attend all meetings?
Meeting attendance is encouraged. It is not required to attend all meetings, but we do require members to attend two meetings each semester.
4. How do I EARN a graduation sash?
A member receives a sash if they attended atleast two meetings, volunteered in two major events, and completed atleast ten hours of community service during the semester. We understand there are special circumstances (work, student teaching, ect.), in which case, you need to contact an officer to get a solution. .
5. What are the dues?
Our dues are $35.00. This covers membership for an entire year.
6. How much are the B.E.S.O. shirts?
The cost for a shirt is $12.00.
